The funding will be determined on the strength of applications from individual writers of

fiction and short screenplays,

and is proffered twice yearly.

We aim to support individuals who are:

Passionate and knowledgeable about the technical aspects of film as well as

the story they have created.

 Whose writing has visual cinematic elements.

Who have a strong belief in and commitment to their work, who will have personal connections with new and fledgling film makers.

Who are capable of writing mature subject matter with a unique and innovative approach.

Whose aim is to work within the film industry.

BCAD is currently a non-profit funding facility.

OUR EXPECTATIONS

That each funded project is completed by the applicant granted funding, and that upon completion each will endeavour to promote their film and reach a wider audience via streaming platforms and film festivals within the United Kingdom, and other countries.
